Organic Wool & Silk Wrap Bodysuit

Wickelbody aus Bio-Wolle und Seide

Weiß Size 62/68 (2–6 months) Made in Portugal

€16.95

Soft wrap bodysuit for babies aged 2–6 months, knitted from 70% organic virgin wool (kbT) and 30% silk. Temperature-regulating and gentle on sensitive skin, with an easy wrap-over front and press-stud fastening. Undyed natural white, certified to the strictest OEKO-TEX class (Product Class I).

Why this is important for your baby

Organic wool and silk naturally regulate your baby's body temperature — warm when it's cool, cool when it's warm — helping prevent overheating and supporting calm, restful sleep. The fibres are breathable and moisture-wicking, which keeps skin dry and reduces the risk of irritation and rashes. Because the fabric is undyed and certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Product Class I — the strictest standard, made for babies under three — it is free from harmful substances, azo dyes, formaldehyde and skin-contact nickel, so it is safe against your baby's delicate skin.

Environmental footprint

Measured cradle to gate, using the EU PEF methodology.

4.8kg CO₂e

Carbon footprint

Organic pasture-raised wool avoids synthetic inputs; carbon is higher than plant fibres but the garment is long-lived and biodegradable.

Water used

Rain-fed grazing and undyed finishing keep water use low for an animal-fibre garment.

How to care for it

Wool/silk cycle or hand wash at 30°C with wool detergent.

Do not bleach.

Do not tumble dry. Dry flat, gently shaped.

Iron at low heat (up to 110°C) if needed.

Do not dry clean.

Wool is naturally odour-resistant and self-cleaning — airing is often enough. Wash only when necessary to protect the fibres.

Recycling

When it's time to say goodbye

Do not dispose in household waste. Bring to a textile collection point, donate if in good condition, or return via the dm store recycling initiative.
